The recordings are interviews of locals talking about various aspects of their lives from fifty to one hundred years ago in the Forest of Dean. People shared their experiences of mining, forestry, and other industries.

Spooktacular Family Fun at Dean Heritage Centre!
Get ready for a hauntingly good time with creepy crafts, a ghoulish ghost trail, and pumpkin carving!
Tickets can also be purchased at the Gift Shop on the day.

Monster Tea Party 30th & 31st of October

Guided Woodland Walk 2nd of November

Join Alex for a walk in the woods to discover hidden gems beneath the canopy of magnificent beech and oak.
Your ticket includes a pre-walk snack and a cup of coffee, a three-hour guided walk to discover the ancient woodlands, and lunch at the Heritage Coffee Shop. For £30 per person.
