About the event
The Annual Traditional Charcoal Burn at the Dean Heritage Centre will be the first bank holiday weekend in May.
The Dean Heritage Centre is one of the only places in the country to make charcoal using the traditional turf & earth kiln method.
The team will be begin building the Charcoal Burn, Saturday Morning and lit midday. The Charcoal will be ready to harvest midday Monday!
