Something exciting is stirring in the deep dark wood...
To celebrate the launch of Gruffalo Granny, the brand-new story from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, we’re bringing a whole day of Gruffalo-inspired fun to the Dean Heritage Centre.
Perfect for little explorers, story lovers and Gruffalo fans, join us for crafts, stories and even some rather unusual woodland grub!
Get crafty with the Gruffalo
10am – 1pm
Let little imaginations run wild with a morning of Gruffalo-themed crafts.
Create, colour and get stuck into some woodland-inspired fun before heading off to explore the rest of the Centre.
Settle down for Gruffalo Story Time
1.30pm – 3pm
After all that crafting, find a cosy spot and join us for Gruffalo Story Time.
Little ones can settle in and enjoy some much-loved Gruffalo storytelling as we celebrate the arrival of the newest member of the Gruffalo family.
Feeling hungry? Try some Gruffalo Grub!
Our Heritage Coffee Shop will be joining in the fun too, with a special Gruffalo-inspired menu available throughout the day.
