Nature Mobile

Learning Objectives:

Workshop Description: After looking at an examples of a nature mobiles, walk around the woodlands and gather different natural objects reflecting the textures, colours and shapes they want to use to create a mobile. They can explore options for the shape of the mobile – maybe make it more like a windchime for example. They can explore using natural twine/reeds for connecting the objects, rather than string. They will consider the weight of the objects in how the structure will balance and how to connect them. The items will be connected with string, reeds and sticks. Glue or tape may be used too. The finished mobiles and be taken away at the end of the session.
