Children should be taught to identify, group and select materials using properties and behaviours that can be tested, and identify and group living things using observable features and other characteristics.

Workshop Description: Walk around the museum grounds and woodlands with a member of the education team to look for different habitats, plants, trees, insects and animals. Learn all about your surroundings and identify different species. This workshop will be tailored for students of any age group who wish to take part. It will also be tailored for whichever time of year that you wish to make your booking. The workshop can be adapted to suit specific topics and include mini beast hunting.
